9. Rhythm and pattern

Rhythm




This image was taken at Southend and i needed to be fairly sharp as there wasn't a gull on every post for very long. The split second when there was, coincided with one of their colleagues flying over, but this didn't detract too much from the rhythm. If anything, the motion blur emphasised the static nature of the sitting gulls. 




Pattern




This image was taken in a vineyard during a wine-tasting visit. The pattern created by the bottles, with alternating rows of tops and bottoms, was considerably better than the taste of the wine inside them.
